GT8 Knatts Valley Caravan Park Object due to over development, infrastructure and its position in the AONB with no further exceptional circumstance that allow further development, recent appeal has allowed more and therefore there should be no further development. Not suitable due to remote location, poor infrastructure single track roads.

In respect of the proposed allocations: GT2 – Early Autumn, East Hill, Shoreham The site has been established as a gypsy site for a significant period and is located within a locality where there is a dispersed settlement pattern. It is well screened and has limited impact on the landscape. GT3 – St Georges Stable, Shoreham The establishment of a gypsy site in this location is considered wholly inappropriate. The site comprises open countryside, unrelated to existing settlement pattern in an

GT9 Hollywood Gardens Object as greenbelt land and would be overdevelopment, insufficient space and lack of parking spaces.

GT10 Two Barns Object to any further development of this AONB. The infrastructure to and from this isolated site could not cope with the additional traffic along a difficult lane

Policy 11 – Provision for the Gypsy and Traveller Community Previous Gypsy and Traveller appraisals and government consultations have provided evidence that it is best practise to limit sites to under 15 pitches – Romani Way already stretches this figure to 17. The proposal to increase the number to 22 is not supported by Edenbridge Town Council. However, to support the need for additional sites within the district, it accepts the proposal to provide 10 pitches at Seven Acre Farm, the existing
