For Swanley, so far all we have is moving WOLC out of the town centre and probably downsizing it as well.  The town centre development is in the hands of the landowners who just want to maximise profit.   The old working men's club was demolished some years ago and we still have the vacant land behind hoardings waiting for what to happen??  The other side of the road also seems to be closing down prior to redevelopment but nothing seems to happen.  How does this make for a vibrant town centre?  Also in the proposals we will lose the car park by the old working men's club - where will everyone go on market day?  It is all very well to make pronouncements about wanting "a vibrant town centre" but what about making it happen?  This is the crucial point.
