Public Rights of Way - The County Councils ROWIP is not evidenced. The current ROWIP should be referenced as it is a statutory policy document for PRoW for the protection and enhancement of PRoW. The policy should be expanded to ensure that improvements to existing open spaces are made in consultation with the local community. Also, children's play space does not always have to include attractive and engaging equipment. There are other forms of play. When money is invested in new play equipment, a wider range of ages should be considered and more local consultation with potential users carried out before spending money on a "standard" range of equipment which might not engage many in tha

We are pleased to see the emphasis on sports facilities. Access to the countryside is also important ie making it easy for everyone old and young to enjoy the countryside - walking etc with interconnected public transport. Other types of leisure are also vital to the community, especially if more people are working from home. Adult education centres provide a vital resource for all members of the community.
