Edenbridge has the two worst rail stations in the south east with chronic over crowding, there is no secondary school, its takes weeks to get a Gp's appointment because its so over subscribed, we have a small minor injuries department, with have no full time firefighters, we have no ambulance station close by, we have one bobby on the beat that pops by the town every now and then, we have a few roads out the town all going through narrow country roads and you want to build more houses and increa

While road and rail infrastructure need vast improvements, just to cope with current demands, IMVHO we should also see more localising of services. For example, GP surgeries should take on more activities that are referred to hospitals. They should have people to give basic help with first aid and blood tests, as well as x-rays. I fail to see how roads can be improved substantially, when we simply look at where the jams are, and try to increase capacity. I have yet to see a scientific survey on
